Aarrow Sherborne Medium Stove Review

Taking its style from the true tradition of wood burning stoves, the Sherborne range of woodburning and multfuel stoves will make a beautiful feature of any room. Behind its time-honoured two-door exterior is the technology that makes Aarrow woodburning and multifuel stoves the best of British-built stoves. Any Sherborne can be controlled from a gentle warming glow to a comfortable room heater, with enough power in reserve for when you really need to turn up the heat. Among their many features, the multifuel versions have a riddling grate for wood or solid fuels that is controlled from the outside for comfort and safety. Borne of a time gone by, Sherborne woodburning and multifuel stoves will perform magnificently for a lifetime still to come.

I have been very pleased with my fire purchase, good heat and easy to use,it looks good and is very inviting in my home. During winter months and cold weather my fire is constantly on and apart from looking good throws out good heat.
With the price of gas / heating, I purchased hoping to save money on fuel bills as I am able to get cheap wood and somtimes even free wood, so my gas / heating bill has been reduced.Somtimes the door can be difficult to close, I do think this is a manifacture fault as my friend who also has the same model also has difficulty closing the door, however after a few attempt it will close.
The fire was good value for money, and I am glad i purchased.

We just replaced an old gas fire with this log burner. It is the best buy I have purchased for our house and good value for money. We live in an old converted bungalow and was originally told it was a warm house, it was not when we moved in – well it is now.Hot and toasty just when you want it and it is easily controllable, took us about 3 weeks with occasional fires to get used to it (We had never used a log burner before)
On a cold winter night it is just the best you could want. The heat output is tremendous and it makes you warm and cosy in no time at all. However, my partner is better at igniting it than me! I think its the hunter gatherer instinct kicking in!
I much prefer the two door design and love it stylish looks I would never be without it now.
It would be at home in a modern or traditional property and is a lovely centre piece even when not in use.
    I would highly recommend.
I researched many of the log burners on the market and this was by far the best in its league and good value for money.
