With it’s 250mm (9 7/8″) legs, the Villager Kitchener stove is a comfortable working height, making it an ideal addition to the kitchen. This wood burning stove has a single flush fitting hot plate, especially designed to attract extra heat.

June 7th, 2011A great compliment to our kitchen snug and a real treat in the winter.
Airwash works well but could be a bigger draw. the hotplate is a great way to warm soup and boil the kettle. easy to work and easy to refuel. a slight pain to clean ash out – but once youve got a small ash collector you get the knack. Remember to use the grey ash trick to clean the glass – dont use anything thats too hard on the glass front.
nice burner and a welcoming sight every day for us.
It arrived with a slight mark on the top which dented the finish slightly but we cant see it too bad. Apart from that it was a great service from fires online – thanks.

June 7th, 2011Looks great in the kitchen. Gives off a good heat for it’s size. mine heats the hot water which does get really hot. great for boiling the kettle or a pan. An all round good buy. I only burn wood on it so don’t have the grate in . very easy to clean out, about once a week.
